ICC Chilifest

Bring the heat and your best chili to ICC Chilifest!

Local businesses, community organizations, ICC departments and student groups are invited to compete in a friendly chili competition on Thursday, October 22, beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the ICC Grove on the Fulton Campus.

There is no entry fee! Teams will prepare and serve their chili for guests to sample and enjoy. ICC will provide chili accompaniments, including hot dogs and nachos.

Come share your favorite recipe, show your team spirit and enjoy an evening with the ICC family as ICC takes on East Central Community College with kickoff at 7:00 PM!

Please submit one registration per team. Your team captain will receive setup instructions and competition details before the event.

A panel of 4 local judges will crown winners based on the following categories: Golden Ladle - Grand Champion, Community Division Champion, ICC Division Champion, People's Choice Award and Best Booth/Team Spirit.

What Your Team Will Provide

• Enough prepared chili for 200 two-ounce samples (approximately 3¼ gallons).

• Equipment to keep your chili hot throughout the event.

• Serving utensils, including ladles.

• Team members to set up, serve chili and clean up your space.

• An ingredient list identifying any allergens.

• Optional decorations to showcase your team spirit!

Teams should be set up and ready to serve by 4:30 p.m. Please indicate any electrical needs when registering.

What ICC Will Provide

• A designated team space in the ICC Grove.

• Two 8-foot tables and four chairs per team.

• Sampling cups, spoons and napkins.

• Team signage.

• Chili accompaniments, including hot dogs and nachos.

• Coordination of the competition and judging.

• Setup instructions and event details before the event.

There is no team entry fee.
